French, since it's the official second language of Canada.
2) If you could have the starring role in any film already made, what would it be?
I dunno, I'm boycotting this question.
3) If you could receive one small package this very moment, who would it be from and what would be in it?
It would be from one of my LJ friends and it would just be a small care package. I love those!
4) If you could own one painting from any collection in the world but were not able to sell it, which work of art would you select?

5) If you were instantly able to play one musical instrument perfectly that you never have played before, what would it be?
Piano. I've always wanted to know how to play piano. My mom wouldn't put me in lessons as a child because she was forced to do it when she was yonger and hated it. I really should just learn, I already know how to read music, so it wouldn't be too hard for me.
6) If you could possess one supernatural ability, what would it be?
To be able to read people's minds.
7) If you had to choose the most valuable thing you ever learned what would it be?
Compassion.
8) If you could have only one piece of furniture in your house, what would it be?
A big comfy sofa bed/couch.
9) If you could read the private diary of someone you know personally, whose diary would it be?

14) If you could choose the music at your funeral, what would it be, and who would play it?
I was at a funeral for someone young who died unexpectedly and it was "I Always Thought That I'd See You Again" and I don't know who sings it, but I'd want them singing it at my funeral too. It was really powerful to hear those lyrics sung so mellow.
15) If you could take away the vocal cords of any person, who would it be?
Gord at work. He never has anything pleasant to say!!
16) If you had to describe your idea of the perfect mate, how would you do it?
Funny, Caring, Open, Honest, Trustworthy, Loving, Empathetic, Sympathetic. Pretty much Dan plus the last two in my list.

My apartment in Oshawa. It was too short for Dan to even stand up properly in and I hated living in the basement!
