Icy River

On the way out the door this morning I noticed that the river is trying to freeze over.

I drove down to the marina this morning before work - and it's all frozen over. I don't know if I got a good photo of it, but if so, I'll post it tonight.

It's really cool when bodies of water freeze for the winter. I don't think I've ever seen the river half frozen like this, it just looked so nice this morning! It's supposed to warm up a bit again, so I don't think it will completely freeze yet. It usually doesn't until after Christmas anyway because of the current.

See, if that was me I'd be walking down there and throwing rocks in it to see how thick the ice is :)
