We did it...we bought out dishwashwer last night!!!

It will be ready to be picked up next Thursday, but we probably won't get it until Saturday when Dan's dad can let us use his truck to pick it up in. I'm so excited!!!

We went to a few stores last night to price compare and we weren't actually able to see the dishwasher that we bought, but we saw similar ones so that's good.

We got a frigging amazing deal on it. The list price (as you can see on the website) is $599. The price Dan was seeing on the GE website was $399 +tax +$65 shipping. That comes out to $533.60 We went into a local place and told them what we could get it directly through GE for and he sold it to us for $430 +tax and no shipping. Total: $494.50 Woohoo! :)

This is very exciting!! It's going to look great in the kitchen, matching and everything. Now you're going to have to find places for the stuff that's living in the dishwasher's home. But I'm sure that you can deal with that! ;)

It's just the big bags of flour down there right now from the grain store. I think I'm going to clean out the bottom of that mini white pantry I have and put them in there. That will mean I'll need a new home for the cereal, but I can handle that. :)

Congratulations! I have a GE that I got last year to replace my old, old dishwasher and it looks just like the one you got. It is very quite my old one sounded like a train going down the tracks. So I think you will enjoy the quite and the no clutter look of your counter tops!
