Oh man, I just heard a huge crack of thunder.
Watch out Peterborough!!
Dan left to go into work for the afternoon about half an hour ago. He was talking to some people in the office who say that it's mostly empty, but there's an inch of water in some of the hallways there. That's really great for a high voltage testing lab I think. I hope Dan uses some common sense this afternoon!
He was telling me that he hopes in particular that there was no flooding in one of the buildings. They store all of their old (like over 100 years old) drawings there, and it would be horrible if they were lost. I told him if they were that important, they should be stored somewhere a little safer than the basement...that's just me though!
I'm not up to much this afternoon. I really don't feel like doing much either, which works out quite well. I'm chatting on MSN with
juliel right now. :)
Later on I'll likely go and read, as I'm up to my neck in good reading material lately. I guess I should also figure out something to make for dinner tonight. Any suggestions? Soup? We've got enough water for it! Sorry, bad joke.
