Question for the Geeks...

One of the things I was looking forward to doing with our new high speed was a bit of downloading. Just a couple TV shows here & there and some music. Our bandwidth limit isn't high enough for movies. I had just recently learned how to use BitLord to do Bit Torrent stuff. Our terms & conditions for our high speed states that we aren't allowed to use Bit Torrent, I assumed they just had to say that legally. Turns out that they can actually block that kind of downloading, and they are.

What are my other options for downloading TV shows & music? I'm so out of the loop since I haven't had high speed in over 6 years now!! Last time I think we used Limewire, but I hear now it's bad for viruses & spyware. Help!
