Happy Birthday To Me!!

This has been one great birthday so far!! :)
Dan let me snuggle in bed a few extra minutes this morning and then he cooked me a nice breakfast complete with eggs, hash browns and bacon. It was a surprise too, I just stepped out of the shower and smelled bacon! :)
No one at work knew that it was my birthday today, and I felt awkward telling them, so I didn't. But it was really busy at work all day so that was nice.
After work, Dan took me out to a really nice pasta restaurant in Peterborough and I had the best meal I think I've ever had! It was a chicken breast with a layer of parmesan cheese then a layer of proseutto (sp?) and then a white wine sauce with sauteed mushrooms. *dies all over again* For desert we split some caramel pecan cheesecake and the waitress even put a candle in it for me!

I came home and opened cards and gifts! I got:
-A card from mum2hailey
-A card from boukyou
-A really cool Blockbuster Movie Rental pack from sunshineyjen
-The 2 most recent Harry Potter books plus 3 magazine subscriptions from my mom
-From Dan, a Gameboy Advance & Dr. Mario
-From my brother, Jody, a car adapter for the Gameboy and earlier he gave me a glass sushi set.
-On the weekend, I got a gift bag from bellajellybean with a sweater, a calendar and a ladybug mug with some Tim Horton's Gift Certificates in it.

Now, I'm going to go and spoil myself further with some birthday cake.
It has been one good day...for a while I think I can even forget that I'm turning 25. *cringes*
