Jan. 8th, 2002 12:11 pmSee...now I warned you there would be more than one entry for today. What is it about working that makes journal entries so much more exciting than anything else you're working on, but when you're at home sans job, anything seems more interesting than doing a journal entry. One of life's many mysteries I suppose.
Added to that list of mysteries I would have to add the arrangement of articles on top of my desk. There is a spot on the desk which is most clearly intended for a computer (hence the pull out keyboard shelf) but do you think the computer is located anywhere near that spot? Good guess. The computer is over on the end of the desk where there isn't even any room to put your legs under the desk to type, so I'm hunched over to type this while looking at the nice keyboard shelf out of the corner of my eye. Why are people so stuipd? If I were here any longer than a week or two I would so be moving it around, but at this moment, I don't feel like I have that right. Oh well. I did take the initiative and put away some of the tacky crap that was littering the desk. ie. pictures of barbie dolls (don't ask...I can't answer it) dried roses taped to my computer monitor, a ball of elastic bands, and a dirty mug (I didn't dirty it, therefore, not my job to clean it up. It presently resides in the bottom drawer under a pile of papers). Job well done I'd say.
Well, almost out of here for the day, hope tomorrow passes faster, although it's hard to see how it could pass much slower...but anyway. It's all good and it's money. Just have to keep reminding myself that. :)
