Logon to your computer in safe mode and look around. Run your scandisk and disk compressor. There is a huge virus that is going around (the most recent cause for my computer problems) that wasn't detected by a downloaded anti-virus program. Maybe you want to reformat your computer? I'm no computer genius, but thought I would pass on a few bits of advice.
