It doesn't matter that you're not working I wouldn't think, just as long as you can prove that your husband earns enough money to pay the rent, that's all they're interested in. Yeah, it is hard to find a place that will allow both small children and dogs. I'm hoping to find a place for two students, one working (me) and a few fish. Shouldn't be a problem.
