Nov. 8th, 2004 09:42 pmI had another great day at work today, I'm totally loving this job so far!!
I was getting compliments all over the place too. I wore a brown skirt and a new black kind of turtleneck sweater and everyone kept saying how nice I looked. I just kind of threw the outfit together this morning while still half asleep...so that's always nice!
I helped out in accounting this morning, helping to reconcile some invoices. Basically, matching them up against packing slips. I also shipped two packages, fun stuff! I'm not really sure what I'll be working on tomorrow. Reconciling those invoices was a huge job, but it's done for the week now. I'll have those two packages from today to track online, but that will take me all of about 10 minutes and then I'm out of work again. Hopefully someone will have something for me to do...I hate being bored!
After work we took my SIL Rose and her roommate Allison grocery shopping. It's amazing how some weeks you can go shopping and spend $80 and get tons of food and feel like you've gotten your money's worth. This week we spent $80 and got almost no "meal" food. Mostly stuff like cat food, cheese, yogurt, laundry soap....all of the expensive stuff. I guess that's okay though, our freezer/fridge/pantry is not hurting for meal food. I made some good beef and barley soup on the weekend and we had that for dinner again tonight. I have the last of the leftovers for my lunch tomorrow.
After grocery shopping, we dropped the girls back off at their apartment and Rose told me I had to come in and get my birthday present from her. Never mind that we see her at least once/week and my birthday is like 22 days away still...she was too excited to give it to me. She got me the cutest sheep slippers, they rock! I'm wearing them right now and my feet are so cozy! I'll have to take some pics.

bellajellybean will be picking me up from work. We'll be getting some dinner in Peterborough and then I'll be helping her shop for some pink fabric. I'm helping to modify a wrap for her to match her new dress (that she still needs to post pics of) :) I'm looking forward to hanging out with her too, fun times will ensue.
